今回は皆さんを観劇にお誘いしたくてメッセージをお届けしています。
毎年、東京幻堂は善光寺で「今昔舞踊劇 ― 怪」という舞踊パフォーマンスを上演しています。
東京幻堂という劇団は、普段は東京を拠点に公演を行っている歴史ある劇団ですが、
この「怪」という作品だけは毎年、山梨で上演されているんです。
物語は日本の昔話を題材にしており、今回はなんと第21回目の公演となります！
「えっ、21回も？ じゃあ、もうみんな観たことあるんじゃないの？」
……と思うかもしれませんが、実はそうではありません。
物語の内容は毎年変わるので、過去に観たことがある方も、
きっと新たな驚きと感動を味わえるはずです。
夕暮れ時のお寺の雰囲気はとても幻想的で、
まるで観客を包み込み、これから始まる舞台への心の準備を整えてくれるようです。
一度体験したら忘れられない、印象深い時間になるでしょう。
今昔舞踊劇は 10月24日、25日、26日 に行われます。
昨年は、カオリさんが堂々としたキノコ役で俳優デビューを果たしました。
今年も、舞台2年目にして経験豊富な女優風のカオリさんの演技が登場するという噂も……！
日本の伝統文化に興味のある方はもちろん、
日本人の方も外国人の方も、ぜひ観てほしい公演です。
私が観光客として日本に来ていた頃は、
こうしたレベルの高い舞台は京都でしか観られないと思っていました。
でも今では、私たちの山梨でもこんなに素晴らしい公演が観られるんです！

Hello, this is Clara from Answer Knocks and this time I want to invite you all to see a play with me.
Every year, the theater company Tokyo Maboroshido brings their buyo performance called “Konjaku Buyo Drama – Kai” to Yamanshi’s Zenkoji Temple.
The play is a compilation of several Japanese folk tales, and this year it will be acted for the 21st time.
You might be thinking
“What? They already presented it 21 times? Doesn’t that mean that everyone has already seen it by now?”
Well, that’s not actually the case because the stories use in the compilation change every year, so even those that have watched the show before are in for a surprise.
Tokyo Maboroshido is a long-established company that usually performs in Tokyo, but they bring “Kai” to Yamanashi every year and take the most to the atmosphere of the Zenkouji temple at dusk, which is truly mystical and seems to envelop the audience, preparing us mentally for the performance that is about to begin. Once you experience it, it’s sure to be an unforgettable, memorable experience that you too might want to revisit every year.
Kai will be performed on October 24th, 25th, and 26th this year.
Last year, Kaori made her acting debut on this show in the role of a very imponent mushroom and rumor has it that this year, in her second year as an actor, Kaori will be performing with the skill worthy of an experienced actress!
This is a performance that anyone interested in traditional Japanese culture should watch. Japanese and foreigners alike. Actually, when I first came to Japan, as a tourist, I thought this kind of high-level performance could only be seen in Kyoto, so it really amazes me that is something that can be seen right here, in Yamanashi!

A Tokyo Maboroshido é uma companhia tradicional que costuma se apresentar em Tóquio, mas todos os anos eles trazem “Kai” para Yamanashi onde ela se destaca pela atmosfera do templo Zenkouji ao anoitecer, que é verdadeiramente mística e parece envolver o público, preparando-nos mentalmente para a apresentação que está prestes a começar. Depois de assistir, certamente será uma experiência inesquecível e memorável que você também vai querer repetir todos os anos.
Kai será apresentada nos dias 24, 25 e 26 de outubro deste ano.
No ano passado, Kaori fez sua estreia como atriz neste espetáculo no papel de um cogumelo imponente, e há rumores de que este ano, em seu segundo ano como atriz, Kaori se apresentará com ares dignos de uma atriz experiente!
Esta é uma apresentação que qualquer pessoa interessada na cultura tradicional japonesa deve assistir. Seja você Japonês ou estrangeiro. Na verdade, quando cheguei ao Japão, como turista, pensei que esse tipo de espetáculo de alto nível só pudesse ser visto em Kyoto, então me surpreende que seja algo que possa ser visto aqui mesmo, em Yamanashi!
